DJ IRAS : I-Ras has been mixing since 88 in undergound raves, Dub sessions, and Festivals in mainly UK and West Indies. Reggae, Roots, Dub and Riddum has always been the style of Iras, a reggae man for time. Being bought up on the likes of Sly & Robbie, Augustus Pablo, Lee Scratch Perry and many more Jamaican Reggae artist. His style is unique and experimental, mixing the vibes with turntables, compact disc, echo chambers,fx and dropping in chants.
His sets have often had various musicians on stage playing sax, congos and keyboards, who will slot into bursts of solos to extend the mix of Reggae. Version excursion freestyle....
Nowadays he's a mix master in the studio but does n't get to Dj out often. He can be found experimenting with live acts, sound engineering and being involved with Chocotec Production. Check Iras at the chocotec MIXES
